Profile

He started track and field at 16 years of age and became the 400m champion at the National Athletic meets (Joiner Part) in 2000, two years later. He finished fifth in the 400 meters and made a contribution as the anchor leg in the 4x400m relay in the Asia Junior Championships. In 2002, he became the 400m champion at the National Athletic Meet (Adult Part) again. He advanced to the Athens Olympics of 2004 as the third runner of Japanese team in the 4x400m relay. the team got the fourth prize, which was the best of Japanese records. He has been with APF since 2008 and training for the London Olympics 2012.
