Profile

Yukito Irie started track and field at 10 years of age as 110-meter hurdler when he was a junior high school student. He has been with APF since 2006 after he graduated from Kashiwa high school attached to Shibaura Technical University and Hosei University. He finished seventh place at the National Championships in 2005, third-place at the Japan Industrial Track & Field Association meets in 2007 and third-place at the Niigata Prefecture National Athletic meets in 2009. Now, he is training for the world championships in Daegu, Korea in 2011 and the London Olympics in 2012.
